Architecture

Built around Telegram MTProto cloud storage with a polished Local Drive interface. Backend can remain serverless because files live in Telegram's cloud.

File handling

Supports documents, images, videos, archives, folders, app installers, APKs, and release builds. Telegram supports uploads up to 2GB per file.

Storage

Telegram cloud has no practical storage cap for saved files, so Local Drive presents an unlimited-style personal drive workflow.

Sync

Background sync and offline browsing can keep cached files available while uploads and downloads require internet access.

Transfer

Chunked transfer and resume support are planned for interrupted uploads and large media files.
